Does anyone know if they have taken the APFT out of schools less than 8 weeks? I have a soldier attending BNCOC ph 2 & 3 in CA and he said they had stopped the APFT on schools less than 8 Weeks. Anyone know anything about this?

If your school is longer than 8 weeks you have to take a PT test. If it is shorter you do not. Also if you fail the tape test you get another chance and if you fail that you are not sent home but given a "marginal" 1059. Just finished phase 3 and going to phase 4 in 2 weeks. They read us the new reg concerning this.

The same is with WLC, though they require you to pass one before you attend the class. Been like that for aover a year now.

Yes kids! I sniff CS for fun, and it's not illegal!

Makes sense, conducting a PT test is time and an extra headache on the school. Especially if someone fails.

Such smaller school should focus more on the long term goal.
