If so could you tell me a little more about it? What you think, how you like it? Pros and cons?
Im currently a 15p ,and with over 6 years im ready for something NEW! Hopefully someone can give some light onto these MOS' (i know about training, but want to know what the army is known for not telling you about...)

I'm not a 14J but:

As far as AIT, be ready to take a lot of notes. You will be getting a lot of information thrown at you in a fairly short time frame. Just pay attention and do your best. As far as stateside duties, It's a lot of maintenance and training.

When you are deployed, you'll be serving in a numerous jobs, just depending on what unit your assigned to. It could range from paperwork to working on a weapon system i.e. C-RAM that prevents rockets and mortars from hitting the BASE/COP/FOB.

14J is a lot of technical work. You will learn how to operate several different computer systems, as well as how to integrate other systems. You will be a much broader range other than just detecting aircraft.

Civilian works could be with Raytheon and Boeing likes to hire former 14J.

Duty stations - Any/Everywhere. The MOS is versatile. You can be assigned anywhere from Division level down. You won't have much say in where you end up, but just know you can go anywhere.

------------------------------------------------------------

For 15J, as you are going to be working on a flight line, look The 500/700/1,000 time you see one of them take off you're probably going to stop being impressed.

The MOS is limited to where you can go. You probably won't be able to get a ride in one neither. I know 160 SOAR have lots of 15J.

------------------------------------------------------------

15W as far as I know the classes start all the time, even so if you join and a class does not start right after you finish basic training you will just go to Fort Huachuca and be hold-over until your class starts. The MOS is not that hard to get into, you have to be able to acquire a secret security clearance and be able to pass a class III flight physical, which pretty much consist of you being able to see and hear like a normal person.

I was a 14 J several years ago and I was told during AIT that there is only 5 places in the world you could go... I wonder if things have changed

Yes, as a 14J myself, there are many different places you can go. Actually, all over the world if you'd like.
